In one of my summer vacation, I went to visit several temples in Thailand. One of my Muslim friend suggested me to visit Sathira Dhammasathan, she told me that the chief nun,mae chee Sasannee. used to be the top model. The first steps I enter into the centre, it cooling my heart with its natural environments.
The story how I met mae chee Sasannee was starting with her biography book, the noble mission. In her biography book, she wrote “may you be free from sufferings”. I was reply that “ Yes, Mae chee, how you know this is my target of my life, be free from all sufferings, to attain nibbana”.

Mae chee always teaches us that the happiness appear when we able to gives.” She is the one who knew I did not have experience in organizing Buddhist activity, but she still accepted my invitation to Malaysia for conducting a workshop. She is the one who teaches me how to give instead of be a receiver. Her teaching is easy and simple, but it worked and changes my perspective of life.
For me, I always gratitude and appreciate to mae chee, who always gives me opportunity to learn and get involve in dharma activity. On 22 february 2011 was her 30th years birthday ordain as nun. 22 Feb 1971, she give up her luxuries life and enter into a simple life by ordain as a nun. Her 30th years dhamma contribution had benefit more than thousands of single mothers, her teaching influence and improving the life of all levels of groups start from children to elderly in worldwide.
To show my gratitude to her 30th years ordination work, I think the best dharma gift to cerebrate this important day for my teacher was ordain as a temporary nun. It is also a dharma gift for myself to inspire me towards the spiritual path.
Thank you.
